AUGUST 2009 - New Laminate Stretch Canvas format coming soon.

Our Images will soon be available presented on laminate stretch canvas. I will be adding some photos of this format here, so that you can see what they look like.

This is an exciting alternative to traditional wooden framing which you will be able to order in a variety of different sizes that we will post to you.The images will printed on canvas using K3 inks, then stretched and laminated for protection.

I will be adding a new gallery for this format very soon.

JUNE 2009 - New Badger cubs, Fox, Exmoor Ponies (including foals), Red Deer in velvet, Barn Owls, Little Owls, Tawny Owls and Kingfishers photo's coming soon.

I have been unwell recently; unfortunately chronic back problems and photography don’t mix, my thanks to my wife Alison, my son John, Jamie, Lisa & Cathy for all their help and encouragement through this difficult and painful time!

Fortunately most of the wildlife photographed above is almost quite literally on my doorstep, so I haven’t had too travel very far. My physio tells me the exercise will do me good, although I’m not always convinced!

We have been extremely lucky to be invited to photograph both the Kingfishers and Red Deer from private hides (sorry I can’t divulge the locations, so please don’t ask).

The Exmoor ponies were photographed from the car, sometimes this can be a brilliant hide.

And last but by no means least the Barn Owl ‘Casper’ was photographed at EXMOOR FALCONRY & ANIMAL FARM West Lynch Farm Allerford Porlock Somerset England UK 01643 862816, by kind permission of Cathy Powell, follow this link to their website, or visit my links pageto read more about them.

Red Deer Rut 2007

New photo's of this years rut on Exmoor, including amazing new pictures of a big stag, locally known as "VAN GOGH"

I have not been very well this autumn and as a disabled photographer who cannot walk far, I have had to find creative new ways of getting close enough to photograph the Deer, but it has definitely been worth it, the fresh air of Exmoor does you good when your feeling ill, but there are still lots of places I can't get to anymore! For those of you that are interested I have been using a black Manfrotto Monopod (model 679B), which also doubles as a very good walking stick.

For anyone with mobility problems there are some local "Safari" tours on Exmoor. See our links page for more info. Or click on this link Barle Valley Safaris

I have only been up a few times this autumn for the rut, but I have been extremely lucky, I've even been able to photograph the Deer from the car this year!

I have also met some very friendly and extremely helpful people visiting Exmoor, all have been enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife we are blessed to have on our doorstep. Thankyou to the people I met for your help, I hope you enjoyed your stay.
